Welcome to Taylor Park Elementary School – a great school in a great community!
Taylor Park enrolls students from Kindergarten to Grade 7. As our neighbourhood grows, so does our school! This year we have almost 600 students! Our students learn about academics, the arts and athletics. We also work on the development of social and emotional skills and the skills needed for twenty first century citizens.
Taylor Park was designed as a green school and has a valued partnership with Burnaby Parks. We are continuing to enjoying the planting areas, bee condos and butterfly garden that we share with the City pf Burnaby.
Our dedicated Parent Advisory Council supports school programs and enables parents to meet other parents as well as to keep informed and involved in school activities. All parents belong to the PAC and are encouraged to attend monthly PAC meetings. We alternate each month between meeting during the day and meeting in the evening so all parents can attend. Parents that are involved in their child’s education are more likely to have a successful school experience.
